- Cultivating and enhancing relationships with key accounts and collaborating closely with internal teams.
- Crafting and executing strategic plans for managing and negotiating with key accounts at a local level to optimize revenue and contributions across various trade lanes.
- Developing a strategy for customer segmentation to better align with the company's portfolio.
- Provide timely updates on requests related to space management, pricing, quotations, and the escalation of local issues.
- Focus on increasing sales productivity and achieving key performance indicators, including volume (TEUs) and profit margins, is essential.
- Regular engagement with customers through sales calls and meetings is necessary to grasp their needs, market trends, and potential opportunities.
- Preparation and execution of tenders and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
- At least a Diploma or higher, with Key Account Management/Sales experience in the freight shipping/forwarding industry.
- Strong communication skills and good track record of account management/sales in freight shipping.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
