- Develop and implement credit management strategies and policies in alignment with the company's overall objectives and financial goals.
- Oversee and manage credit levels across the region, ensuring levels are maintained within budget while meeting business turnover target, preparing
- reports and presenting findings to senior management.
- Monitor and evaluate risk across the region, identifying potential areas of concern and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risk.
- Identify and implement transformation initiatives be it tools, processes or operating model that can enhance efficiency and improve the process, quality, or productivity of the teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Operations, to align Deductions strategy & ensure effective credit management
- practices.
- Conduct regular credit reviews and assessments to assess the creditworthiness of customers and make informed credit decisions.
- Review Credit policies & Insurance coverage across all countries to ensure minimal risk exposure.
- Provide guidance and support to the regional credit teams, ensuring adherence to credit policies and procedures.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the credit management skills of the regional credit teams.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to credit management.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in credit management, preferably in a regional or multi-country capacity.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies, credit policies, and credit management best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound credit decisions based on thorough analysis.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and credit management SAP T-codes.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to credit management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Professional certifications in credit management or risk management are a plus
