  • Operate in the front office as a licensed representative of a fund manager
  • Maximize fund performance with the best execution of orders in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Monitor risks in the portfolio
  • Gain exposure to portfolio construction, positioning, re-balancing and monitoring
  • Support all aspects of risk and control environments
  • Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Risk and Compliance) to ensure approach is consistent with global practices for controls, oversight, risk and portfolio management
  • Ensure the accuracy of the Net Asset Value
  • Assist in corporate action election andin ad hoc tasks, where necessary
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in a related discipline with at least 2 years of experience in the finance space and some product knowledge in Fixed Income, Equity and Derivatives.
  • An understanding in fund structures will be an advantage. Candidates who have an aptitude to numbers, spreadsheets and problem solving, are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Independent, with good communication and coordination skills
  • Prepared to lead operational improvements and change
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with automation tools (e.g. VBA, Python, etc.) would be an advantage
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day presents new challenges and adept at multitasking
