What the role is:The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) seeks to transform Singapore into a leading global city of enterprise and talent, a vibrant nation of innovation and opportunity. Our mission is to promote economic growth and create good jobs to enable Singaporeans to improve their lives.What you will be working on:You will be a key member of the Facilities, Infrastructure and Sustainability team reporting to Corporate Operations Division (Administration). Your main responsibility is to lead and support related facilities and infrastructure projects and initiatives in MTI. This work will involve engaging stakeholders from different levels including Political Officer Holders, senior management and officers from the Divisions and MTI's Statutory Boards as well as external Government agencies and service providers. You will need to manage the workplace facilities, operations, repairs, maintenance, and improvement works to ensure that the office premises are well-maintained, and that the operating expenditure are within budget. In addition, you will be required to support related administration work and sustainability plans and initiatives in MTI.What we are looking for:
Experience in facilities management work and/or project management in workplace infrastructure. • Familiarity with office space management and planning. • Knowledge in Sustainability areas. • Good writing and communication skills and able to express complex ideas simply. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage people at all levels and with multiple stakeholders. • Able to work independently and in a team.
