Our client is a leading global alternative asset manager with a strong presence across the Asia-Pacific region. With a long-term investment approach, the firm specialises in managing real estate, infrastructure, and private equity assets. The company operates a highly entrepreneurial and collaborative culture, offering employees a front-row seat to high-impact deals and cross-border investment opportunities.They are seeking an Investment Associate to join the real estate platform, focusing on value-add and opportunistic corporate-level and direct real estate acquisitions in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The role provides a rare opportunity to participate in the full investment cycle-from origination to execution to asset management-while collaborating with some of the most experienced professionals in the industry.This position provides broad exposure to high-quality, complex transactions across a diverse asset base in the Asia-Pacific region. Candidates will gain hands-on experience in deal execution, portfolio management, and strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior leadership, internal stakeholders, and external partners, you'll be part of a dynamic platform with accelerated learning and growth potential.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation, and return analysis for prospective investments
- Perform in-depth public and private market research to support investment theses
- Support the due diligence process across functional areas (legal, financial, commercial, technical)
- Assist in drafting and presenting investment committee materials
- Engage in ongoing monitoring and performance tracking of portfolio assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different asset classes and geographiesKey Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, STEM or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, or investment management
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with demonstrated financial modelling capability
- Highly self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team-oriented mindset
