- Conducting interviews internally and externally, which may include, but not limited to, understanding IT environments to identify sources of digital evidence
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams
- Forensic imaging of storage media from computers, servers, mobile devices as well as data stored on cloud.
- Host forensic analysis of file system for Windows, Macintosh and Linux.
- Cryptocurrency investigations.
- Identify, collect, preserve, process and manage electronic data for electronic discovery (e-discovery) engagements.
- Perform email and document review to identify evidences.
- Lead team members in the research and development of latest form of digital evidence and forensic tools and procedures.
- Report writing, presentation and providing trainings.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years of digital forensic investigations experience in using forensic software to identify, collect, preserve and analyse electronic data from laptops, desktops, servers, cloud, backup tapes and mobile devices.
- Proficient in evidence handling, chain-of-custody, acquisition techniques, analysis of digital evidence, forensic lab practices and procedures.
- Extensive understanding of Microsoft Windows, Macintosh and other Operating Systems (OS). You should be able to understand and translate the artefacts extracted from the OS into investigation outcomes supported by detailed documentation.
- Ability to code and knowledge in database management is preferred.
- Any certifications in the field of cloud technologies, computer forensics and/or e-discovery will be an advantage.
- Presentation skills. You should be comfortable presenting your findings to your colleagues and clients in an interactive manner. KPMG will provide learning opportunities to improve on your presentation skills.
