We are seeking an experienced logistics and operations professional to oversee the end-to-end execution of commodity shipments. This role covers shipping operations, contract administration, documentation, and coordination with global stakeholders to ensure efficient and risk-free delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesShipping & DocumentationManage the full cycle of shipping operations, including contract administration, vessel nominations, and cargo allocations.Prepare, review, and process all shipping documents to ensure timely turnaround.Verify and handle Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and other trade finance documents.Liaise with shippers on scheduling and logistics planning across bulk, breakbulk, and containerised shipments.Coordination & Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary point of contact with suppliers, buyers, brokers, ship owners/agents, freight forwarders, surveyors, insurance providers, and liner companies.Ensure smooth loading, transportation, and delivery of cargoes, addressing issues proactively to avoid delays.Collaborate with internal teams (Commercial, Risk, Finance, Accounts, Pricing, Chartering, and global offices) to mitigate execution risks and support commercial objectives.Systems & ProcessesWork within SAP, ITAS, or other trade/ERP systems for invoicing, reconciliations, and documentation matching.Monitor receivables, payables, shipping claims, demurrage, despatch, and client account aging.Ensure strict adherence to company SOPs and compliance standards.Leadership & SupportProvide guidance, training, and support to operations teams in Singapore or other offices as required.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational risks, and enhance process effectiveness.Handle additional operational or shipping-related tasks as assigned.
