- Own demand planning process by collecting demand from internal customers, ie Sales companies namely Singapore, Vietnam and Philippines, via JDE shortage and reorder report.
- Perform planning functions in Singapore and assigned ASEAN countries.
- Physical Execution of Kanban/VMI (Vendor-Managed Inventory) program, which will include (contract review, communicate, plan with team & customers, organize and execution)
- Taking leaMaintaining healthy DSI and inventory over sales to be less than 10% every month.
- Working closely with Customer Service and Buyer teams from the Sales companies and keep them updated of any supply situation.
- Identify area of improvement and formulate plans via S&OP, PFEP, to form a goods finished goods strategy. Manage weekly inventory reporting for different product groups for Asia Pacific SCM Manager.
- Manage aging inventory and aggressively ensuring consistent reduction by working with Sales for ASEAN.
- Candidates with some experience in purchasing are highly preferred, as they may also handle supply management for customers with inventory stocking contracts.
- Work closely with Sales to design VMI, Kanban, planning for direct OEM customers.
- Taking Lead in consolidation of Asean inventory reports on monthly basis. (SVP, Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia)
- Visit customers to understand the operations and demand for inventory planning.
- Explore new boundaries focusing on service capabilities & customer satisfaction.
- Understanding and following all division policies & procedure relating to job responsibilities.
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in Material Planning, preferably in MNC or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Kanban replenishment / pull system is preferred.
