This role involves writing efficient SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and developing interactive dashboards and reports in SQL Reporting Services and Power BI. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently, collaborating with remote teams, and delivering reliable, data-driven solutions that support decision-making across the business.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database views to support reporting and analytics.
  • Build and maintain SQL reports, Power BI dashboards, and datasets based on business requirements.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in all reports and queries.
  • Document technical processes, queries, and reporting logic for future maintenance.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in SQL (e.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of database concepts like indexing, normalization, and query optimization.
  • Good understanding of data visualization best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in SQL scripting for data querying, transformation, and reporting
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling is an added advantage.
