On behalf of one of its clients in the Engineering sector, the French Chamber of Commerce is recruiting a Service Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical).Our client is a leading agency, distributor, and systems integrator in Singapore, representing a select portfolio of overseas principals who design and manufacture high-quality pharmaceutical equipment and consumables.Key Responsabilities :Reporting to the Service Manager, you will:Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of technical issues directly on-site, and implement solutions with minimal assistance.Liaise with European manufacturers to resolve client issues.Prepare site work, draft procedures, and participate in Site Acceptance Tests with clients, partners, and suppliers.Deliver and install spare parts on clients’ premises, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.Write detailed and illustrated service reports after each on-site intervention.Provide remote technical support to clients via phone, WhatsApp, and email.Maintain and update service project documentation, ensuring accessibility and compliance.Manage spare parts flow: receive and verify deliveries, prepare delivery documents, and handle RFQs from clients.Request quotations from suppliers and partners, and prepare tailored offers for clients.Ensure regular project follow-up through ongoing communication with clients, suppliers, and partners, both locally and overseas.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Solid knowledge of P&ID, hydraulic and wiring diagrams, as well as equipment maintenance.Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.Detail-oriented, adaptable, and responsive, with a strong team spirit.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
