- You will also play a key role in new business development, including attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market.
- Underwriting of Casualty lines in accordance to underwriting authority including: WICA,Public/Products Liability, Environmental Impairment Liability, Product Recall.
- Day to day servicing of existing portfolio – both renewals and new business.
- Work alongside actuarial departments and claims on complex risks.
- Manage referrals to management to support underwriting decisions and actions.
- Prioritize workload to achieve internal and external deadlines.
- Contribute to Singapore and APAC projects when necessary, including digital transformation.
- Striving to meet profit center and personal new business budget targets.
- Identify business opportunities and convert ideas to reality through product development and enhancement.
- Work with other Departments across AIG to achieve corporate objectives.
- Build on the Company profile in the market.
- Proactively keep up to date with industry and business issues.
- Experience in managing and underwriting Facultative RI business, Casualty products and dealing with Brokers channel.
- Strong network in the Casualty space.
- The ability to analyze financial statements.
- Strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Customer and Sales orientated behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
