- Oversee technical operations of assigned vessels.
- Ensure vessels adhere to International Maritime regulations, laws, oil major requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to shipboard team.
- Monitor vessel defects and ensure timely and effective rectification.
- Promote a culture of safe operations on board vessels.
- Manage vessels' dry docking and repair works according to company policy.
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective action to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct vessel inspections and internal audits as required by the company.
- Procure vessels' spares and consumables and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain validity of statutory certificates, vessels' drawings, and instruction manuals.
- Manage vessels' planned routine maintenance and spares inventory.
- Assist in evaluating shipboard team performance and interviewing potential officers.
- Supervise construction of new vessels according to agreed design and specifications.
- Candidate must have a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (COC) in Marine Engineering.
- Tertiary qualification in Maritime Studies, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Thorough knowledge of International Maritime regulations, laws, and oil major requirements.
- Preferably with experience as a Technical Superintendent in a shipping company.
- Analytical and proactive in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Team player, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
