Technical Superintendent (LPG/ Ethylene) (S17022)

• Oversee technical operations of assigned vessels.

• Ensure vessels adhere to International Maritime regulations, laws, oil major requirements.

• Provide technical support and guidance to shipboard team.

• Monitor vessel defects and ensure timely and effective rectification.

• Promote a culture of safe operations on board vessels.

• Manage vessels' dry docking and repair works according to company policy.

• Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective action to prevent recurrence.

• Conduct vessel inspections and internal audits as required by the company.

• Procure vessels' spares and consumables and ensure timely delivery.

• Maintain validity of statutory certificates, vessels' drawings, and instruction manuals.

• Manage vessels' planned routine maintenance and spares inventory.

• Assist in evaluating shipboard team performance and interviewing potential officers.

• Supervise construction of new vessels according to agreed design and specifications.

• Candidate must have a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (COC) in Marine Engineering.

• Tertiary qualification in Maritime Studies, Engineering, or equivalent.

• Thorough knowledge of International Maritime regulations, laws, and oil major requirements.

• Preferably with experience as a Technical Superintendent in a shipping company.

• Analytical and proactive in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Team player, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
