- Perform all opening and closing duties, especially handling e-mails and guest communications, responding to all enquiries and special requests.
- Answer the telephones according to Conrad Hotel standards and have a full understanding of the restaurant operation.
- Manage all the reservations and ensure all the reservations are handled swiftly.
- Arrange the service flow and seating plan through the restaurant operation.
- Greet guests at the door immediately and seat them comfortably.
- Maintain high standards of conditions of the restaurant through constant inspections, notifying those responsible for any improvements or repairs to be made.
- Effectively handle guest complaints and report to a manager of situation and resolution.
- Respond properly in any hotel emergency of safety situation.
- Coordinate and successfully perform the daily secondary duties.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
- Ensure the grooming standard are being met and maintained, demonstrating a professional image for our guests.
- Ensure that guest satisfaction is monitored and where appropriate, rectified throughout their meal experience.
- Bid “farewell” to guests, ensuring guest satisfaction has been reached and to encourage repeat guests.
- Guide our guests in organizing a private event in the outlet.
- Create a guest database collecting the contact details, guest preferences and feedback from previous visits.
- Ensure streamline communication with the team and guests and achieve consistent results.
- Anticipate, in advance, all materials and supplies and ensure their availability.
- Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working climate.
- Follow through and constantly update the restaurant guest’s database to be efficient and consistent in relation to regulars and VIPs.
- Ensure all communication are efficiently made in regards to enquiries, groups or daily reservations.
- Update and maintain guest profile history. This includes keeping track of Guest birthday, Anniversary to offer to make reservation, if the guest wishes to dine with us.
- Ensure to keep up to date on Competition analysis by keeping track of happening in the city and calling competition on regular basis to update on promotion and pricing.
- Take ownership of the Restaurant and Bar areas in all aspects, including taking guests’ orders and the service of Food & Beverage products.
- Be able to maintain and update computer files whenever needed, including standardized letters, latest menus, etc.
- Discuss, in advance, any menu changes or daily specials with staff, ensuring knowledge of each.
- Respond properly in any hotel emergency of safety situation.
- Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
- Set up a proper procedure and maintenance with regards to par-stocks for all menus, beverage lists and wine lists.
- Be fully aware of the reservation procedures and telephone etiquettes according to the Hilton standards.
- Ensure that the telephone system is working properly at all times.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Restaurant manager.
- Set up hostesses check lists (daily, weekly and monthly).
- Senior High School education or specialty in Hospitality.
- Positive attitude and Excellent grooming standards
- Good communication skills (oral and Written)
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Maintain high team focus by showing cooperation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of team goals.
- Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcohol.
- Open minded and outgoing personality.
- Willing to work for long hours.
