- Relevant academic qualifications in hospitality, business, tourism, or related disciplines. A Degree is preferred.
- At least 8 to 10 years of practical industry experience in air travel, cruise, rail, resort, or hotel operations is highly desirable, providing real-world insights to enrich student learning.
- Strong knowledge of current hospitality industry trends, challenges, operational standards, and best practices.
- Experience collaborating with industry partners for internships, guest lectures, or practical training is an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry advancements.
- Significant teaching experience in hotel and hospitality education, preferably at the tertiary or higher education level, with a proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Experience in curriculum design, development, and assessment aligned with industry needs and academic standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of students.
- Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into the classroom to enhance learning outcomes.
