In this role, you will be expected to undertake the following areas of work:Design end-to-end architecture for government digital services including citizen portals, business platforms, and inter-agency integration systemsLead the architectural design of scalable applications that can handle millions of citizen interactions and government transactionsDefine integration patterns for legacy government systems and modern digital platforms to ensure seamless data flow and interoperabilityDesign fault-tolerant and resilient architectures that maintain critical government services during system failuresArchitect cloud-native solutions involving AWS/GCP/Azure for government service delivery, data processing, analytics, and real-time decision-making systemsDefine comprehensive data strategies for structured and unstructured data including video feeds, sensor data, and mobile app interactions. Architect real-time data processing pipelines that can handle high-velocity data streamsDesign enterprise-wide integration patterns connecting agency’s systems with external partners, government agencies, and third-party service providersProvide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams working on different aspects of smart city technology or digital services/Azure)Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate new technologies for potential integration into Smart city technology stack in the form of containerization, microservices, serverless computing, and cloud-native architecturesManage and lead a team, fostering growth and collaboration[What we are looking for]Proficient in multiple programming languages and frameworks including Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, and modern frontend technologiesExperience with real-time data processing, streaming analytics, and big data technologies in high-volume production environment.
