- Develop research plans with clear objectives, participant screeners, moderator guides, recruiting strategies and timelines.
- Share research findings with product, design and executive teams in ways that support decisions.
- Provide regular project updates, including status, blockers and open questions.
- Recommend appropriate research methods and tools based on stakeholder goals.
- Work with Product Managers to forecast and prioritize research needs.
- Join cross-functional initiatives, representing the user voice and helping to drive continuous improvement.
- Build user empathy across the organisation through readouts and direct feedback.
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in UX research.
- You centre users in your work, understanding their experiences, emotions, and motivations.
- You ensure these insights are clearly communicated and embedded in team decisions.
- You use interviews, surveys, and usability tests to uncover what is relevant
- You are confident in both qualitative and quantitative research methods and know when to apply each.
- You turn findings into clear, actionable insights that guide product and design decisions.
- Able to present research findings in a clear, engaging, and accessible way.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure insights lead to meaningful improvements.
- Skilled in selecting and using research tools to manage studies, analyse data, and communicate results.
- Able to apply these tools effectively in your day-to-day work.
- Able to adapt your approach and communication style to suit different audiences.
- Working alongside your team to explore new ways to apply research and drive innovation.
- 3-5 years of UX research experience, ideally in health tech or regulated industries
- Comfortable conducting research in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Portfolio that shows past research work and deliverables
- Experience with tools such as UserZoom, UserTesting, Qualtrics, Confluence, and Miro
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field
- Some travel required internationally
- As this role involves facilitating research for the China market, conversational proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to effectively engage with users and stakeholders
- Experience working in healthcare or medical device industry
