- Promptly respond to customer inquiries regarding pricing and delivery schedules, both verbally and in writing
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints effectively and in a timely manner
- Monitor market competition by staying updated on pricing, product offerings, lead times, and other relevant data
- Process customer orders efficiently, including order entry, contract review, and invoicing
- Build, maintain, and strengthen strong business and interpersonal relationships with existing and prospective customers across Southeast Asia
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and meet company-wide objectives and performance goals
- Prepare oral and written reports for management on customer needs, issues, interests, competitive threats, market trends, and opportunities for new products or services
- Consistently achieve or exceed invoicing and booking targets, in alignment with goals set by the Sales Manager
- Al least 2-3 years of commercial experience in steel distribution, precision engineering, or Oil & Gas
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science (or equivalent discipline)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Skills and abilities to include excellent oral and written communication skills, customer responsiveness
- Demonstrated experience in negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Singaporean, PR, Malaysian
- Minimum: At least 2 -3 years relevant commercial experience in steel distribution, precision engineering or Oil and Gas industry
- Preferred: At least 5 years relevant commercial experience in steel distribution, precision engineering or Oil and Gas industry
- Minimum: NITEC/Diploma in Business/ Mechanical/ Materials Science Engineering or at least 2-3 years industry experience
- Preferred: Degree in Business/ Mechanical/ Materials Science Engineering or at least 2-3 years industry experience
- Establishing, maintaining, and developing good business, social relationships with customers and potential customers in Southeast Asia
- • Consistently achieve invoice and booking numbers meeting or exceeding sales targets established in coordination with Sales Manager
- • Responding to customer inquiries with price and delivery in a timely manner either through verbal, or through writing
- • Receiving, entering, contract reviewing, and invoicing customer orders through Stratix
- • Providing management oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, market situation, competitive activities, potential new products/services, and competitor threats
- • Monitoring competition by keeping up to date on current market information regarding pricing, products, lead times, etc.
- • Resolving customer complaints by investigating the issues, developing resolutions, and completing them in a timely manner
- • Helping all areas of the organization in order to achieve company-wide requirements and goals.
