- Assist with Event Planning: Support the events team in all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budget management, and timeline development.
- Logistics Coordination: Assist with logistics coordination, including transportation arrangements, equipment rentals, and setup and breakdown of event spaces.
- Attendee Management: Help manage attendee registration, communications, and inquiries, ensuring a positive experience for all event participants.
- On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during events, including assisting with registration, directing attendees, managing exhibitor or sponsor areas, and addressing any issues or emergencies as they arise.
- Promotional Activities: Assist with promotional activities to drive attendance and engagement for events, including social media marketing, email campaigns, and collateral development.
- Post-Event Evaluation: Assist in conducting post-event evaluations to assess event success, gather feedback from attendees, and identify areas for improvement
- Administrative Tasks: Provide administrative support to the events team, including data entry, file organization, and correspondence management.
- Diploma in hospitality management, event planning, marketing, communications, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and interact professionally with clients, vendors, and attendees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software or tools is a plus.
- Passion for events and willingness to learn and grow in the field of event management
