Airfreight Manager

• Head of air freight operations, responsible for meeting KPI targets
• Develop and improve air freight forwarding operational procedures (import and export)
• Establish and manage internal SOPs and controls for compliance with IATA, Customs, RCAR, local laws, and regulations
• Oversee vendors' and subcontractors' performance, implement KPIs, and conduct periodic reviews
• Regularly review staff work allocation, training, and performance
• Onboard and train new staff for seamless integration
• Attend HOD meetings to provide feedback on operational challenges and improve inter-departmental working relationships and processes
• Prepare contingency, training, and succession plans for the Air Operations Department.

• Minimum Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant discipline
• Minimum ten years of working experience in managing Air Freight Operations
• Good with Data Gathering and Analytics
• Good with freight management systems
• Solid knowledge and network in the airline industry
• Strong knowledge of command of documentation, procedures, and business practices for air cargo transportation

• Possesses effective leadership skills.
• Collaborates well within a team.
• Demonstrates exceptional communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
