- Develop and maintain a strong and active network that generates identification and recommendation of opportunities related to NGL and LNG.
- Originate commercial opportunities in line with strategic priorities focused on new growth (M&A, new investments, etc).
- Support chartering of existing assets (LNG & NGL), identifying and pursuing short and medium term business opportunities
- Identify, investigate, and develop strategies for introducing Seapeak to new customers in the NGL segment and making recommendations to the Business Development VP.
- Continually monitor and map the competition and establish benchmarks.
- Work closely with the VP and the rest of the BD team (particularly the Director, BD (Pacific) to develop and implement shipping services and offerings. Ensure that department and management is kept updated on general market dynamics and newbuilding activities.
- Project management prequalification, project, tender and offer processes, etc ensuring NGL tenders and projects are completed to the satisfaction of both internal and external customers, with the appropriate attention to safety, quality, cost, returns, profitability, performance and schedule
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver pre-qualifications, tenders and projects as well as improve industry expertise.
- Coordinate special projects as required, including due diligence reviews on customers and partners to assess business risk.
- Draft, revise and negotiate term sheets, Charter Parties and NDAs for new and existing businesses.
- Produce reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Investigate broad information sources to gain insights on future market developments.
- Monitor market mechanisms and asses
- Develop strategies for market participation and capturing market share.
- Assess whether the current strategy being followed is still valid or needs to be revised.

- Relevant experience in the business segment.

- Be proactive, creative, and able to work independently.
- A degree in relevant areas such as Business, Economics or Shipping would be beneficial.
- Willingness to travel as and when required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
