This role is ideal for recent Electrical Engineering graduates or individuals with up to 3 years of working experience in power generation or related industries. You will support the development of technical proposals, engineering designs, and execution activities for diesel and gas generator systems used in mission-critical power applications.Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. - Assist in preparing designs, drawings, and documentation according to customer requirements.
- Support equipment selection, engineering calculations, and technical proposals.
- Maintain and update engineering specifications, scope of supply documents, and technical databases.
- Utilize engineering tools and internal design standards under guidance.
- Participate in technical presentations and training sessions.
- Stay familiar with international and local technical standards.
- Collaborate with the sales team to define technical scopes for proposals.
- Assist in reviewing customer specifications and tender documents.
- Help coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and factories for technical alignment.
- Support cost estimation and preparation of technical and commercial proposals.
- Assist in generating purchase requisitions and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.
- Support tracking and fulfilment of project technical deliverables.
- Help verify engineering documentation and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Learn to navigate tools such as SAP for project and order management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 3 years of relevant working experience are encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to power generation systems, diesel/gas gensets, or electrical control systems is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layout drawings.
- Knowledge in AutoCAD, electrical power systems, or switchgear is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP tools is a plus.
