Job Title: Sales Application Engineer Location: SingaporeYour New Company: A leading provider of industrial and energy solutions is seeking a technically skilled Sales Application Engineer to join its Singapore team. The company specializes in customized power systems and advanced engineering applications, serving clients across infrastructure, energy, and manufacturing sectors.Your New Role: As a Sales Application Engineer, you'll play a key role in bridging technical expertise with customer engagement. You'll support sales teams and partners by developing tailored proposals, coordinating with engineering teams, and ensuring project requirements are met with precision and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Develop technical proposals and initial design layouts (e.g., plot plans, P&IDs, single line diagrams, wiring diagrams) based on customer specifications.Provide technical consultancy to customers, dealers, and partner companies.Review tender documents and ensure proposals meet project requirements.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to select suitable components and system designs.Liaise between sales and engineering departments to support production execution.Support new energy transition applications and customized diesel generator systems.Perform engineering calculations and prepare costing for customization projects.Review technical documentation for compliance and accuracy.Manage vendor relationships and equipment specifications.Deliver product presentations and technical briefings to clients and consultants.Ensure alignment with environmental and company standards.Travel regionally for project coordination and client engagement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Minimum 1-2 years of experience in product or engineering design, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.Solid understanding of industrial engines and system customization.Proficient in engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office.Strong project management, problem-solving, and presentation skills.Positive attitude, creative mindset, and collaborative team player.Ability to work under tight schedules and travel internationally.Professional Engineer (PE) qualification and Japanese language proficiency are advantageous.Ready to Take the Next Step?Interested applicants, please click APPLY NOW or send a copy of your updated CV to Pinru.chen@jac-recruitment.com for a confidential chat.Do note that we will only be in touch if your application is shortlisted.Chen Pinru
