
Senior Business Development Manager, Staytion

- Prospect for new business, research and engage companies and ideal customer profiles for sales engagement or partnership cultivation
- Develop and implement sales strategies to align with the Company's direction and growth
- Maintain existing business accounts and develop new accounts through sales and marketing programs
- Negotiate contracts with major accounts
- Conduct sales presentations to our prospective clients
- Represent the Company in promotional events and trade shows
- Conduct benchmarks and market analysis
- Manage all aspects to acquire new space partners and retain space partners in Southeast Asia, not limited to - onboarding, KYC documentation, account servicing, relationship management, platform troubleshooting.
- Lead the execution of the Vending Machine (VM) business in close collaboration with the Staytion GM, driving both supply and demand growth for the new business vertical.
- Supply Growth: Oversee space acquisition to expand inventory, maintain updated listings, and ensure competitive pricing.
- Demand Growth: Partner with the machine leasing team to build and manage a strong pipeline of potential customers for the VM business.
- Capabilities & Partnerships: Develop or acquire critical capabilities, and establish partnerships across key areas including machines, products (SKUs), space, logistics, operations, manpower, and maintenance.
- Lead and take accountability for partnership results, making sure positive value is created in each partnership program, operational aspects are executed as agreement, and reports for management are accurate.
- Lead Market Intelligence and Business Development strategy development and oversee its execution, including industry trend analysis, customer insights, and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct regular business review with space partners with the objective to grow partners' revenue and customer base.
- Work cross-functionally with a variety of teams, including Marketing, Legal, IT and Operations to advocate for partner needs.
- Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders
- Set partnership targets, and guidelines, for an assigned country, aligning with unique local properties and opportunities with company requirements and standards.
- Candidate must ensure that he/she complies with all SMRT group policies, processes, procedures, guidelines, manuals, and code of conduct
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, and effective account management with strong communication & negotiation skills
- Experience in business strategy and execution, marketing & partnerships, business development or marketing communication
- Have prior experience in startup, vending machine business, marketplace, digital / online company or equivalent
- Have strong networking and negotiation skills with good manner
- Have a very strong communication skills and passion in meeting with people with excellent articulation in both written and spoken in English
- Must be result oriented & attention to details in the process
- Have analytical and structured thinking; must be comfortable with numbers
- Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
