
Payment Optimization Manager

- Partner with internal BI and cross-functional teams to develop and execute data-driven strategies that enhance payment success rates across APAC.
- Act as the go-to expert on payment success — both internally and externally — providing guidance on decline mitigation and optimisation best practices.
- Monitor regional payment performance, identify key decline drivers, and implement targeted initiatives to reduce friction and improve conversion.
- Stay ahead of product launches, industry developments, and technology trends to assess their impact on payment outcomes and merchant performance.
- Translate complex payment insights into actionable recommendations, tools, and optimisation narratives tailored for merchant engagement.
- Collaborate closely with regional peers to share learnings, align on initiatives, and leverage best practices across teams.
- Represent the voice of the merchant — capturing feedback and performance insights to inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
- Min 3 years of experience in payments, operations, or strategy — with a strong focus on payment performance and optimisation — at a leading technology company or payments-focused consultancy.
- Experience in Using Sales Force
- Experience in Power BI reporting

- You're an excellent communicator who can build relations at all levels
- Self-starter with the ability to drive initiatives and deliver results independently.
- Comfortable presenting to external stakeholders, particularly merchants.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data processing and performance analysis.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the Asia Pacific region. (<10%)
