What the role is:You lead a team in the strengthening commitment to Singapore through the implementation of policy on Total Defence, National Education and Support for National Service (NS).What you will be working on:- Drive the conceptualisation, development and implementation of engagement plans - Raise public awareness, deepen understanding and encourage more Singaporeans to play their part - Strengthen whole-of-government (WoG) and 3P (Public, Private, People sector) partnerships, including with citizen volunteers, to achieve these outcomes Challenge(s) - Staying attuned to the evolving social landscape - Developing informed strategies and methods to engage SingaporeansWhat we are looking for:- Education in Mass Communications or Social Sciences - At least 15 years of working experience in conceptualising engagement plans and developing engagement campaigns or programmes - Adept at networking and partnership management - Network of contacts in other ministries, public relations industry and media is advantageous - Strong leadership qualities - Good command of both spoken and written English - Excellent interpersonal skills Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About MINDEF:The mission of MINDEF and the Singapore Armed Forces is to enhance Singapore's peace and security through deterrence and diplomacy, and should these fail, to secure a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor.
