- To proactively handle / manage all day-to-day matters and to maintain effective governance and operational risk controls relating to the assigned NPLs.
- Manage, evaluate and formulate account strategy / action plan for management’s approval.
- Negotiate / seek approval on viable debt restructuring / workout plan.
- Execute / implement / monitor on progress and effectiveness of the approved debt restructuring / workout plan.
- Follow up on recovery plan via security enforcement.
- Close co-ordination with legal counsels, receivers, financial advisers and other professionals assisting UOB in the loan recovery/restructuring.
- A degree from recognised institution or relevant professional qualification.
- Relevant credit / loan structuring skillsets.
- Experience with insolvency work / debt restructuring work / legal procedures and processes, knowledge of key legal principles pertaining to lending and securities.
- Familiarity with corporate finance work will be useful.
- Experienced negotiator with good interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
- Team player and able to guide junior members in the team.
