It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.Job DescriptionGlobal Markets Operations supports the bank’s trading and treasury activities across multiple asset classes. The FXMM Interbank Support team plays a critical role in ensuring smooth trade processing, settlement, and operational risk management for interbank transactions.
  • Provide operational support for FX, NDF, and Money Market (MM) transactions for UOB Singapore trades.
  • Ensure timely trade confirmation, settlement, and resolution of discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor trade fixings, settlement timelines, and follow up on non-receipts/payments.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Infrastructure Downtime Testing (IDT), Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and other ad-hoc projects.
  • Assist in preparing operational reports and statistics for management review.
  • Collaborate with front office, risk, and technology teams to ensure accurate trade capture and escalation of issues.
  • Support Section Head for new products and/or new business initiatives.
  • Support shift operations and maintain service levels during Singapore public holidays.
Job Requirements
  • Willingness to work staggered hours between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM on a rotational basis, including coverage on Singapore public holidays.
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in treasury settlement operations, preferably in a banking environment.
  • Experience with CLS and MEPS+ is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT (MT/MX) messaging and trade lifecycle management.
  • Advanced excel skills with experience in macros will be a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • High attention to detail, risk awareness, and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
