- Develop and execute strategic plans to uphold the preschool's vision, mission, and values
- Align educational objectives with national curriculum frameworks and accreditation standards
- Oversee the development and implementation of a high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum
- Foster a culture of inquiry-based learning and holistic child development
- Ensure efficient day-to-day operations, including staffing, scheduling, and facility management
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and licensing requirements
- Manage cost control and is responsible for the financial performance of the school to achieve financial targets and KPIs
- Recruit, train, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff to uphold professional standards
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to enhance staff competencies
- Prioritize the safety, well-being, and individualized support for every child
- Implement strategies to foster positive social-emotional development and inclusive practices
- Cultivate positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and community stakeholders
- Facilitate open communication channels and engagement opportunities to support parental involvement in children's learning
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the preschool's unique offerings.
- Manage enrollment processes and admissions procedures to achieve optimal student enrollment
- Serve as a primary liaison between the preschool, parents, governing bodies, and community partners
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and governing bodies on preschool performance and initiatives
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Education, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, coupled with at least 8 years of teaching experience in preschool settings
- Candidate with experience in inquiry-based curriculum is an advantage
- Proven resilience in leadership, adept at navigating through ambiguity
- Self-motivated individual with the capacity to think quickly and perform under pressure
- Good written and verbal communication skills
