Key Responsibilities:Head the full spectrum of post-fixture voyage operations for owned vessels.Ensure efficient execution of charter parties and voyage instructions.Monitor fleet’s performance, voyage costs, and profitability.Manage demurrage and despatch claims and settlements.Monitor and analyze voyage profitability across the fleet.Work closely with Chartering and Finance Heads to ensure accurate and timely voyage cost accounting.Implement strategies to optimize bunker consumption, port calls, and laytime.Act as key contact point for clients, brokers, agents, and other stakeholders during the execution phase.Ensure timely communication and resolution of commercial disputes or operational issues.Lead and mentor a team of commercial operations executives and managers.Provide training and guidance to ensure a high-performance, service-driven culture.Ensure operations comply with all legal, regulatory, and charter party requirements.Work closely with insurance, legal, and HSSEQ teams on risk-related matters.Review and improve commercial operational workflows and systems.Contribute to business strategy with insights from voyage analytics and market trends.Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or related field.Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial shipping operations, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.Strong knowledge of dry bulk or general cargo operations.Proven track record in voyage optimization and P&L management.Experience in handling Charter Party terms, claims, and post-fixture documentation.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
