- Work with partners to develop and deliver the firm's strategy and business development plan for Singapore and assigned regional product groups.
- Design and oversee the implementation of a program of business development and marketing activities for the Singapore office, focussing on key clients and product groups.
- Work with the Head of Business Development & Marketing, APAC to deliver the firm's Global Client Program, the APAC Regional Client Program and a local client program in Singapore. Responsible for driving certain local and regional strategic client relationships.
- Work with key stakeholders to drive the firm's client insights programme, take part in the interviews and follow up with clients.
- Help coach and advise partners and lawyers to enhance their client and BD skills.
- Act as connector for both clients, partners and colleagues, identifying opportunities between product groups, clients and geographies.
- Project manage pursuits, and help partners to prepare for strategic pursuits. Be a proactive internal consultant, coaching partners and others involved in winning new business in the art of developing competitive, commercial propositions.
- Work closely with partners and key stakeholders to drive thought leadership initiatives that are aligned to strategic priorities.
- Analyse market and client intelligence to inform strategy and enable sharp decision-making.
- Previous experience in a business development / client development role within a law firm or global professional services firm.
- Knowledge of the insurance sector desirable.
- Comfortable navigating complexity and high expectations in a global law firm environment.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise workloads, manage multiple projects and negotiate deadlines. Strong project management skills, with flexibility to accommodate evolving priorities.
- Ability to work at pace, with credibility and influence at partner level.
