- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent, in a recognised University/Institution.
- Professional certification with a recognised accounting body preferred e.g. Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant.
- Proven experience (at least 10 years) in finance management.
- Prior Big 4 public accounting experience, preferably in a managerial capacity will be an advantage.
- Proven organizational and time management skills, ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, ability to set and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong team management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting/financial concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-Outlook, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Teams, etc.
- Proficiency in accounting software is advantageous.
- Integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior in handling financial matters.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic business environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of professionals.
- Strong mentoring skills to guide the team in providing effective support to the organization.
- Experience in creating a collaborative and innovative team culture.
- Capacity to think strategically and align organization's initiatives with the organization's overall business goals.
- Ability to comprehend the financial aspects of the business and identify/recommend strategies to support the business, especially when it comes to preparation of bus bis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives and employees.
- Proficiency in active listening and empathetic communication to address employee concerns effectively.
- Familiarity with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Ability to ensure current practices and policies are compliant and up to date.
