- Conduct psychological assessments to formulate evidence-based and data-driven hypotheses for appropriate intervention plans or school placements
- Prepare assessment reports
- Engage caregivers on assessment results with comprehensive follow up plans
- Deliver Intervention
- Develop and implement evidence-based naturalistic intervention strategies tailored to the unique strengths and the emotional, learning and behavioural needs of each child
- Provide trainings and coach early interventionists to be more effective in their delivery of intervention to meet individual child's needs
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of interventions, making adjustments as needed to ensure effectiveness and alignment with the Individualised Education Plan (IEP) goals.
- Maintain timely and accurate records of the children and regular contact with their family when required
- Engage caregivers and support them through trainings and coaching, to promote their understanding of their child's developmental needs and facilitate positive interactions and relationships
- Collaborate with caregivers to develop and implement naturalistic strategies for supporting their child's development at home and in other settings e.g. preschools, fostering continuity of care and skills generalisation
- Conduct transitional planning from EIPIC centre to the next educational setting
- Participate in evaluation and improvement of programme and services, and development of new and innovative initiatives to improve client outcomes.
- Provide supervision
- Provide clinical supervision to entry-level psychologists, students in Masters and Doctorate programmes and interns
- Maintain professional, legal and ethical standards
- Ensure the adherence to policies and procedures of relevant governing bodies and implementation of professional and ethical standards
- Attain SRP Supervisor status or its equivalent (within first two years of appointment as Senior Psychologist)
- A minimum of a Master's degree in applied psychology (e.g., Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology) from an accredited university. The programme must include a supervised practicum and supervised training in psychological assessments
- Eligible for Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) (Full Membership) and Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP) registration
- More than 5 years' of relevant post-Masters experience in clinical settings and/or working with/in SSAs
- Effective interpersonal skills, good psychological report writing skills and be able to work in trans-disciplinary team
- Mature, respectful, professional, reliable
- Fluency in local languages and familiarity with the local context will be an advantage
- Willing to travel across centres
