Business FunctionGlobal Transaction Services is a product group within DBS’ Institutional Banking Group which is focused on the management and sale of Cash Management (including transactional FX payments), Documentary and Open Account Trade Finance, and Securities & Fiduciary products and services to corporates, financial institutions, and SMEs.In this role, you will be part of the Group Integrated Solutions team that is responsible for driving business development and solutioning for innovative and scalable client solutions, with focus on growing the utilisation of Virtual Accounts for payments and collections for corporates, businesses, and financial institutions across the region.Job Purpose
  • Demonstrate success of leveraging Virtual Accounts in innovative ways to drive incremental client use cases to achieve new business growth
  • Lead, develop and grow the business by driving key initiatives to strengthen overall client propositions
  • Drive cross product solutioning for key client mandates that span various products
Responsibilities
  • Execute against strategy and drive the pipeline of clients utilising Virtual Accounts for ‘on-behalf-of’ transactions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement new opportunities and use cases via a unified approach
  • Tailor the client propositions and approach for product positioning to each market’s nuances and applicable use cases
  • Drive solutioning of digital client journeys incorporating Virtual Accounts and other adjacent transactional products and capabilities
  • Collaborate with Virtual Accounts Product Manager to identify user requirements and features to deliver superior client journeys as part of the product development roadmap
  • Establish regular cadence with in-country teams to drive commercialisation and scale
  • Collaborate and exert influence with key stakeholders across business, technology, operations, L&C, marketing and other teams, including in-country product managers, in defining key performance metrics; aligning objectives; designing product infrastructure and operating models to achieve superior business growth
  • Drive conversations with control functions to improve client onboarding journeys and governance frameworks
  • Review and ensure proper processes and controls are in place for risk mitigation and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Monitor new technological advancements such as blockchain, IoT, 5G and evaluate the applicability to solve real customer problems in the transaction services space
  • Perform regular reviews of landscape including pricing, services, features et al. to ensure competitiveness
  • Provide broad-based expertise on cross product solutioning for key client mandates that span various products
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in working on Cash Management solutions and Virtual Accounts
  • Strong knowledge of cross-border and domestic collections and payment schemes with good grasp of latest developments in the payments and collections space
  • Strong market research, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to address business specific issues and validate opportunities through obtaining and analysing of data
  • Strong track record in client engagement and stakeholder management to achieve effective business development and commercialization
  • Excellent communication, coordination and relationship building skills, with experience working in cross functional and cross location projects
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and ability to thrive in fast-moving and high-growth environments leveraging creative problem-solving skills
  • High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, & good understanding in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Qlikview et al. will be a plus
  • Team player who is able to see big picture, and has the ability and resiliency to work through challenges with clear organisation goals in mind
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any related discipline
