About SG EnableAs the first stop and focal agency for disability in Singapore, SG Enable raises awareness on disability issues and facilitates access to disability schemes and services. It brings partners together to share knowledge, collaborate and innovate, striving towards a common goal of building an inclusive Singapore and enabling lives. Set up by the Ministry of Social and Family Development in 2013, it is a registered charity and an Institution of a public character.About the DivisionEnabling Village is the first inclusive community space in Singapore dedicated to integrating persons with disabilities in society. Located in Redhill and managed by SG Enable, it brings together community amenities, lifestyle retail services and inclusive programming for all with a special focus on disability-inclusive training and employment for persons with disabilities.You will be part of the team that brings together like-minded stakeholders, community and corporate partners to drive meaningful inclusion and foster a vibrant, connected community for persons with disabilities, their caregivers and members of the public at Enabling Village.This year, community engagement projects in celebration of Enabling Village’s 10th anniversary will be a key focus area for internship opportunities.For more information on SG Enable, please visit .Job DescriptionKey Duties & Responsibilities / Work Areas * Support on partner liaison, marketing and event coordination of disability inclusive events as part of Enabling Village’s placemaking strategy implementation

Assist with the coordination and logistics for community engagement projects with Enabling Village’s vendors and partners, including outreach to community groups, scheduling, and managing event materials where necessary
Conduct desktop research to support the team’s work and any other duties where required

Requirements

Background with Marketing, Design/User Experience Development, Event Management and Organisation preferred
Strong interest in promoting social integration and fostering community cohesion.
Attention to detail, creative, well-versed with design software (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc), and a good eye for design
Independent thinker and proactive
Strong project management / timeline management skills
Prior experience or interest in placemaking and/ or urban design is a plus
