It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with more than 120 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 5,000, of which about 2,000 are graduate students.We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Assistant Manager.Job DescriptionAs an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence across various administrative functions in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. This position is based at NTU’s main campus and is part of the school’s central administrative team supporting faculty members.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive administrative support to faculty, including procurement, claims, travel arrangements, and document submissionsCoordinate academic processes such as exam administration, mark entry, and related supportSupport research administration by assisting with proposal preparation, submission coordination, and budget trackingMonitor fund utilization, maintain expenditure records, and assist PIs in managing research grant budgetsPrepare and consolidate research data and indicators for reporting and submissionLiaise with internal departments (e.g., Finance, HR, Research Office) and external vendors to resolve budgetary, compliance, and process-related issuesOrganize and support school-level events, seminars, meetings, and academic visits, including logistics and documentationContribute to digitalization and workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and service deliveryMaintain updated records, prepare internal reports and presentation materialsProvide secretariat support for committees and meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up trackingLiaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of administrative processes.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in any relevant fieldA minimum of 3 years’ working experience is requiredRelevant administrative experience in a tertiary education or research environment is preferredStrong communication and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a diverse team environmentExperience supporting multiple stakeholders and handling diverse administrative functions is essentialPrevious experience in data analytics or statistical analysis is advantageousExperience or IT skillsets to support automation and modernisation of administrative systems (preferred)Experience in budget management, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement within an academic setting.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
