Through our thought leadership, stakeholder and community engagement programmes, we ensure that UOB's presence, relevance, insights and understanding are seen and felt by our colleagues and customers, wherever they are. We also strive to turn our customers into advocates through our consistent and considered approach in delivering reliable and distinctive customer service.Job ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a dynamic and creative social media manager with a passion for storytelling, has a keen eye for impactful visual communications and is on top of current and emerging digital communication and social media trends.You will be a key contributor in our social media content strategy, partnering with internal stakeholders to developing engaging social media content and drive business outcomes, while keeping an eye for potential content risks. The ideal candidate must be able to think creatively and critically, and have strong communication skills. The ability to work under tight deadlines is a must.Your responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with agencies and internal stakeholders to plan campaigns that meet business objectives, grow our social media community and drive brand preference.
  • Managing content production from end to end.
  • Track paid media campaigns and measure content effectiveness across relevant metrics.
  • Providing guidance on the visual style, tone of voice and execution of digital media.
  • Tracking and analysing performance, and providing recommendations on areas to improve.
  • Establishing relationships across the Bank with those who build, deploy and/or use social content including marketing, product, engineering, and business intelligence teams.
  • Managing relationships with social media partners and external agencies to deliver industry leading campaigns.
Job Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in business, marketing, communications or related fields.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in marketing or social media, preferably in content development and campaign management.
  • An existing portfolio of work.
  • Understanding of various types of social media content - for example interviews, infographics, reels, podcasts, people stories etc.
  • You must be able to think out of the box, work independently and is meticulous with an eye for detail.
  • Positive and energetic team player.
  • Hands-on and curious to experiment on social media. Need to be an active social media user.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sproutsocial)
  • Good knowledge in different aspects of digital and social media. Expert user in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and YouTube.
  • Good communication and written skills with proficiency in English Language (proficiency in other languages will be advantageous). You also need to be comfortable in presenting in a group setting.
  • Good time and people management skill.
