What the role is:As a Manager / Senior Manager in the Mother Tongue Languages Branch (MTLB) of the Curriculum Planning and Development Division 1 (CPDD1), you will provide leadership for the team supporting the Mother Tongue Languages Learning Promotion Committees (MTLLPC) in the areas of finance, human resource, and general administration.What you will be working on:
  • Manage the budgeting, procurement of goods and services, as well as fund utilisation for the MTLLPC, which include the preparation of budget proposals, financial reports and contracts • Enhance the competencies of officers in the Branch in finance and procurement matters by providing them advices, and conducting relevant briefings, inductions and trainings • Gather, review and analyse finance-related data for decision-making • Provide support to MTLLPC on strategic planning for the short- and long-term manpower needs, including the recruitment of project officers (including temporary support) to ensure that the MTLLPC's manpower needs are met • Serve as the Data Champion to guide officers in ensuring that data management policies are adhered to • Support the implementation of key administrative processes for the Branch, and streamline work processes to increase productivity and enhance efficiency
What we are looking for:
  • At least 5 years of working experience in finance and procurement, human resource and general administration • A strong service-excellence mindset with good organisation and interpersonal skills • A team player with the ability to lead, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. • A resourceful, meticulous, and self-motivated individual with high level of initiative and drive In general, applicants can expect to hear from us within 3 weeks of the close of the application window.
