As the dedicated designer, you will shape the entire user experience and interface whilst building a comprehensive design system from the ground up. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on how developers interact with our platform.Key Responsibilities:Own the end-to-end design process for our developer platform, from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity designs and implementation guidelinesBuild and maintain our Developer Platform Design System, creating a unified design language that adheres to Government Digital Service StandardsDevelop essential design resources including component libraries, templates, pattern libraries, and documentation to support development teams in implementationWork closely with product and technical teams to ensure designs are feasible, maintainable, and meet both user needs and technical requirementsEstablish and document design standards, best practices, and guidelines specific to developer-focused interfacesManage the design system's evolution, including updates, improvements, and maintenance of documentationStay current with developer experience design trends and government digital standards to continuously enhance our platformYou will be part of a wider product team while having autonomy over the design direction.
