Main ObjectivesSupport the Controlling department in Region Asia in meeting its key objectives including:Overseeing the financial health of the Region by managing budgets and ensuring performance in accordance with predetermined standardsHelp shape strategy and business decisions by providing management with fact-based business analysisMeasure and improve operational efficiency and effectivenessEvolve into becoming a business partner to the organization Responsibilities & TasksBudgeting and forecasting: Develop and manage financial budgets and forecasts to support the organization's financial planning and decision making including:Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly trend processEngage with Operations to accurately translate, capture, challenge assumptions (procurement/strategic/structural)Oversee month-end closing of accounts including management reporting of performance and deviations to plans including:Calculate accruals for cost/cost reduction itemsMonitor accrual balances by periodically reviewing late postingsAnalysis and management reportingAnalyze and explain deviations between actuals and plansAct as a business partner to all departments in the RegionPrepare management reports (REM, MPC, Area visits, etc.)Participate in company-wide cross-functional projects (e.g., cost saving projects, M&A integration, new systems/processes, etc.)Support on queries from Controlling/Accounting in HQPerformance trackingSupport in development and tracking of KPIs and cost saving measures (e.g., PFP, CCM, etc.)Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and risksStrategic execution: Develop and track agreed productivity metrics to support strategic planning and executionCompliance: Ensure business activities are in compliance with the Company's policies and standard operating procedures RequirementsBachelor's degree in finance/accounting/business administrationMinimum 1-5 years relevant experience, preferably in financial analysis and planningExperience in managing teams preferredMS OfficeKnowledge in SAP preferredBusiness Intelligence tools preferredStrong Presentation and Communication Skills
