Job description:This role is reporting into the Director, Value Added Services (APAC). He/She is responsible for the execution and optimization of technical development processes, such as formulation, prototyping and performing analytical work for pharma applications, thereby supporting the realization of commercial objectives. The Technical Lab Specialist cover a wide range of responsibilities such as:Provide technical support/troubleshooting and handle customers’ technical queriesDevelop innovative prototypes of different pharma applications such as tablet, powder and liquid formulationsPerform analytical work and carry out characterization and comparative studies for pharma applicationsProvide internal and external technical trainingsMonitor trends in the pharma (OTC and generic drug) market and use those insights to drive technical developmentPerform housekeeping of the application development centre, which include sample preparation, equipment maintenance, inventory recording of chemical and laboratory supplies and ensure proper disposal of wasteRequirements:Bachelor or Masters degree in related field. Possesses a valid Pharmacist license will be highly advantageous.Minimum 3 years’ experience in R&D lab of pharma applicationsKnowledge of distributor and/or regional setting will be added advantagesEffective communication and good collaboration skillsAble to work independently as well as team playerAnalytical, technical and problem solving skillsBrenntag TA Team
