- Ensure that all staff deliver customer service delivery and operational warehouse process that meet/exceed customer expectations in line with Customer First!
- Have a solid understanding of the warehouse process, its key customer accounts and perform regular service reviews within the internal teams.
- Ensure that all new warehouse business wins are successfully implemented.
- Always ensuring adherence with quality and safety standards. Maintain and develop customer relationships alongside customer solutions and any other relevant departments.
- Understand individual customer needs and requirements.
- Communicate quickly and professionally to customers any changes that affect their business e.g. delays, changes to flights, emergency measures etc.
- Assist in daily Inventory Receipt & Dispatch when it is needed
- Respond to Customer requests within a timely fashion.
- Ensure monthly Stock checks are performed and accurate
- Drive an operational process excellence mindset across the warehouse Team where process optimization, continual improvement and productivity are vital.
- Responsibility for new processes and changes to existing process designs in line with group methodology.
- Reduce the cost to serve whilst increasing scale/capacity.
- Accountable for minimizing risks in processes, delivering robust workflows and complaint within warehouse team
- Review job profitability with Line Manager and take appropriate corrective action as required.
- Monitor staff (attendance, time keeping, sickness & statutory breaks) and take action and report to the Station Manager as necessary.
- Proactively monitor the team against the B&H Worldwide standards and take appropriate action including training, retraining, counselling, and possibly disciplinary action. Ensure this is carried out in a swift, fair consistent manner.
- Lead and inspire the employees acting as a role model, mentor, and coach.
- Set clear objectives, directly linked to the business strategy, and guide the team to achieve defined targets and performance standards.
- Ensure the team is designed optimally, ensuring sufficient organisational depth, span of control with succession/talent planning
- Complete annual appraisals in line with B&H standards with the Line Manager.
- Ensure an active PDP is in place.
- Ensure all mandatory training is completed within the required time frames and refresher courses are completed are completed prior to expiry date.
- Highlight any areas or needs for training with line manager.
- Ensure the review and appraisal, with the support of the Station Manager, of the team members to meet their full potential and support the growth of the business.
- Attend all team members annual appraisals in line with B&H standards.
- Ensure all team members have an active PDP.
- Meet all Statutory Requirements for the Aviation industry.
- Adhere to B&H Quality Management System Processes, report any non-conformance that is identified
- Ensure warehouse processes are completed in compliance with AU regulations and procedures including:
- Security & Health and safety.
- B&H Worldwide company LRQA AS9120B requirements (swift and accurate completion of shipments working within the parameters of the SG operating procedures and local Customs Law)
- Effectively communicate on performance to Station Manager, identifying areas of success and potential improvement.

- Dangerous Goods Compliant an advantage
