In GFMO, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.Job PurposeWe are looking for an dedicated project specialist to be an integral member of the GFM Ops- Documentation team, primarily responsible to transform how GFMO does business. The incumbent is responsible for project management, drive adoption of GenAI with the aim to drive improvement in documentation area, provide operational resilience and mitigate potential risks in Group Operations.Reponsibilities
  • Lead Change & Transformation: Decisively direct and swiftly manage change initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing disruption. This includes proactive identification and mitigation of risks associated with process changes.
  • Process Optimization & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to enhance productivity, improve control, and reduce operational errors. This involves gathering user requirements, reviewing functional design documents, participating in user acceptance testing, and collaborating with IT and other relevant teams.
  • Operational Excellence & Risk Management: Develop, maintain, and regularly review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including Business Continuity Plans (BCP). Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.
  • Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Effectively collaborate with business units, external customers, and various stakeholders to gather input, ensure alignment, and deliver value-added contributions.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management, highlighting progress against targets and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive operational manuals prior to initiatives go live which includes timely updates to reflect changes and best practices.
  • Deliver on data related requests including deepdive analysis, simulations, GenAI, develop Control Towers and dashboards to drive adoption of Control Towers for decision making and promote learning through experiments.
Requirements
  • Preferably Degree holder in Banking and Finance
  • Min 5-8 years of banking experience
  • Experience in various back-office operation functions which includes processing, reconciliations, confirmation, etc
  • Good understanding of the end-to-end transaction lifecycle of OTC products
  • Proficient in MS Excel, VBA and Python are added advantage
  • Good understanding of GenAI
  • Team player who can work independently
  • Able to work in fast paced environment
  • Willing to work on splits Ops locations
