- Encourage children's exploration and learning through play-based activities and hands-on experiences.
- Build strong relationships with children and families, maintaining open communication regarding children's development and progress.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor children's growth and development, adapting educational approaches as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach to early childhood education.
- Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and actively participate in professional development opportunities.
- Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Creativity and a passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
