Position OverviewThe Business Analyst develops and designs system/data product solutions with the purpose of improving business efficiency and productivity. He/She initiates the study and research of client business processes and requirements, information technology requirements, procedures or problems according to business needs. He/She analyses the feasibility of new systems and/or enhancements to existing systems.He/She possesses an analytical mind, and is able to see interconnections with system solutions and usability. He adopts a systematic approach in handling ambiguous or complex issues, and actively discusses his/her perspectives to arrive at effective solutions.Role & ResponsibilitiesCritical Work Functions and Key TasksBusiness Analysis Planning & StrategyPlan business analysis approach by defining the methods, techniques and tools to be used for business analysisWork with the PM and BA Lead to define goals, work timeline and expected deliverables for business analysisSupport the set up of governance to track status, risks, changes and issues pertaining to day-to-day management of all functional areas of system/data product analysisSupport the planning of stakeholder engagement including defining roles, decision making authority and level of influenceDefine stakeholder communication planDefine requirements & design acceptance and evaluation criteriaFormulate system scope and objectivesRequirements Analysis & DesignLiaise with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives and needsLead the collection of information about new or existing systems/data products for analysisAnalyse current state and perform gap analysis to identify opportunities for improvementExamine interactions between system elements, system performance and issuesConduct in-depth analysis of the business requirements specifications and feasibility studies on possible solutionsSupport the development of business cases defining potential benefits, solutions to increase efficiencies of business processes and associated risksSupport the defintion of opportunities and constraints of processes and systems/data productsEstablish requirements for the implementation of changes in the business processesAnalyse systems/data products and processes to identify enhancement opportunitiesSupport the preparation of solution proposalsDocument business requirements and solution design specificationsTranslate business requirements documentation into system requirement specificationsRequirementsRequirements Lifecycle ManagementIdentify and document the relationships between requirements, design and solutions i.e. enforcing the use of Requirements Traceability Matrix ensuring backward and forward traceability of componentsBalance competing priorities from key stakeholders to maximise the value delivered to the businessPrioritise requirements and seek approval from stakeholders on the priorityObtain approvals of requirements and design from stakeholdersEvaluate changes to requirements and designs and articulate impact to scope, budget and timelineSeek alignment with stakeholders on change requestsMonitor throughout the project lifecycle from initiation to final implementation that requirements are built in the IT solution as expected by collaborating with the development/testing teamsValidate the alignment of solutions with business requirementsAnticipate risks associated with solution integration and changesContribute to the change management activities by developing training plans, training materials ensuring that adequate training is delivered so users understand the impact of the IT solution to their work and obtain buy-in for the new business workflows brought about by the new IT solutionConduct user training to facilitate adoption of new systems, where necessaryPrepare project test plan ensuring requirements are fully tested and are working as per desired outcomesCoordinate test execution across the projects by working with developers, testers and business stakeholdersSolution EvaluationSupport the feasibility study of design options including solution limitationsIdentify alternative solutions and assess feasibilityConduct analysis on the risk vs. benefits for the proposed solutionsContribute to the efforts to increase viability of solutionsRecommend solution maximising business value for the future stateObtain support on the recommended solution from stakeholdersApply NowNOTE: It only takes a few minutes to apply for a meaningful career in HealthTech - GO FOR IT!!
