Management Accounting Decisions and Performance Evaluation will provide students with insights into the nature of management accounting and how different stakeholders use management accounting information to make well-informed business and accounting decisions. This includes ethical insights for performance evaluation, operational budgeting and strategic investment appraisal. It will also introduce students to various techniques for internal management reporting to facilitate these decision-making practices.In understanding how management accounting operates, students in this course are provided with the fundamental budgeting and performance evaluation skills necessary to operate a business or a business unit, along with understanding why other stakeholders make the decisions they make.Job RequirementsA Ph.D or Master's Degree in related discipline from a reputable university or professional qualification in AccountingAt least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantageMust be available to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for a period of 9 weeksMust be available to teach classes during the day between 8.30AM and 6.30PM.Additional Job DescriptionSIM-RMIT is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly motivated and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates must be able to handle a sizeable class, manage assessment marking and provide constructive feedback to students within a given timeline.
