Throughout this course, students will develop their business decision-making skills. You will guide students to make strategic and operational business decisions based on real-world or simulated case studies set under market or industry conditions.Students are expected to use a range of business performance evaluation techniques, along with accounting and business reports to undertake strategic planning and operational decision-making. You will impart both the technical and social practice of decision-making in the business context.This course will involve the use of Work Integrated Learning experiences and various simulation software programmes. This is a Capstone module for students enr in the Bachelor of Accounting programme.Job RequirementsA Ph.D or Master's Degree in related discipline from a reputable university or professional qualification in Accounting.At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantageMust be available to conduct a weekly 3-hour lecture for a period of 9 weeksMust be available to teach classes during the day between 8.30AM and 6.30PM and/or on weekday evenings from 7PM to 10PM.Additional Job DescriptionSIM-RMIT is looking for associates who are dedicated, highly motivated and possess a strong passion for teaching and shaping the minds of the young generation. Candidates must be able to handle a sizeable class, manage assessment marking and provide constructive feedback to students within a given timeline.
