- Own and drive the strategy and product roadmap for your area of responsibility with the Acquisition and Shopping Experience team that focuses on how we drive customers through new & existing digital channels and the overall browsing experience
- Define a winning strategy and roadmap for your area of responsibility by distilling input from various internal and external stakeholders and guide long term product innovations for Castlery's future success. Internally champion your strategy and obtain necessary alignment with your key stakeholders.
- Gather & document product requirements from Castlery users, internal and external in a clear and concise format for designers and engineers to execute on
- Coordinate with other stakeholders to execute on your roadmap by providing leadership, including prioritization and tradeoffs to a group of engineers, designers, and distributed operations team.
- Define success criteria and tracking metrics that measure the impact of your work against agreed objectives. Define people resource requirements that would help you achieve agreed objectives.
- You will work backwards from Castlery consumers by collecting data, user feedback, business stakeholder pain points and use that to inform your Acquisition and Shopping Experience product roadmap.
- Be deeply involved in the operational details of managing campaigns that drive traffic coming through our different digital channels and resulting impact on the browsing experience across all these channels with the marketing team
- You are in constant communication with multiple teams, including leadership, about the development/improvement of features and how it directly helps our customers.
- 4+ years of experience as a product manager within the eCommerce industry
- Demonstrated ability to independently operate in a complex and ambiguous environment, constructing clear strategies and roadmaps supported by analysis and data from loosely defined priorities and goals.
- Demonstrated success in creating and managing products through full software product lifecycle including employment of design thinking in synthesizing requirements, inclusion of customer centricity into every stage of product life cycle, leading by influence of a distributed team, data driven decision making across the product lifecycle and demonstrated success in managing products from concept to retirement.
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, business finance, economics, or related field (MBA is a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies to all levels from executive leadership to engineering and operations.
- Demonstrated leadership of a team including goal setting, personal development and coaching and inspiring for impact.
- Passion for tech industry and building delightful product experiences with ownership mindset to learn, influence and not shy away from hard stuff to meet objectives.
