This is a critical onsite HR role that will contribute directly to business success by ensuring compliant, consistent, and responsive HR service delivery aligned with the Rolls-Royce HR operating model, local legislation, and business needs.This position will serve as the main HR contact point for operational HR matters not covered by our Global Business Services (GBS) and will be a key partner to the production site at Fan Blade Singapore (FBSG) and other civil aerospace operations in Singapore.Why Rolls-Royce?Rolls-Royce is one of the most enduring and iconic brands in the world and has been at the forefront of innovation for over a century. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.Key Accountabilities1. HR Business Advisory & Stakeholder Support
- Provide on-the-ground HR advice and support to line managers and employees, especially on matters that require local business context or face-to-face engagement.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries not addressed by GBS, escalating or redirecting where necessary.
- Guide line managers to ensure adherence to HR policies, local employment regulations, and global processes.
- Coordinate and support the implementation of key HR processes and annual cycles such as:
- Performance Management
- Reward Review & Salary Planning
- Absence Management
- Role Grading & Benchmarking
- Engagement Surveys
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Initiatives
- Work closely with People Partners, Case Specialists, and GBS to enable seamless HR service delivery.
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee data by working with the Shared Services team and ensuring compliance with approval workflows and audit requirements.
- Raise and manage employee concerns, support engagement initiatives, and act as a voice for employee advocacy.
- Partner with the ER team as needed to ensure fair resolution of issues and effective workplace practices.
- Facilitate information and consultation processes and promote a positive work environment.
- Support local execution of HR-related change management initiatives such as organizational design, restructuring, and site-based HR transformation.
- Identify service gaps and propose enhancements aligned with the People strategy.
- Drive or support local HR projects that are aligned to business priorities.
- Support internal and external HR audits for the three Rolls-Royce plants in Singapore.
- Ensure HR processes meet regulatory, policy, and compliance standards.
- Partner with Learning Services to address employee development needs.
- Facilitate line manager access to learning resources and support workforce upskilling initiatives.
- Support hiring managers in defining, grading, and approving vacancies.
- Liaise with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure timely, high-quality recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Ensure smooth onboarding experience for new hires at the site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive HR generalist or advisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of Singapore employment laws and HR practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage HR operations, audits, and provide strategic day-to-day HR support.
- Hands-on experience supporting shopfloor-based or unionized environments is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable working in a matrix organization, supporting multiple stakeholders across global and local HR teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organisation.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail in documentation, data accuracy, and compliance.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Agile and responsive, able to adapt to change and manage competing priorities effectively.
