- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share across all bulk liquid logistics services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the bulk liquid logistics market.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring long-term relationships and a deep understanding of each customer’s logistics needs.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for customer concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels within customer organizations.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives and account managers
- Monitor and track sales performance metrics, making data-driven adjustments to sales strategies as needed
- Develop pricing strategies for complex logistics solutions, including Ocean Freight, Flexi-Tank, ISO Tank, Cryogenic Tank, and value-added services.
- Oversee the delivery of end-to-end logistics services, including transportation, warehousing, Flexi-Tank disposal, ISO Tank cleaning, and specialized handling for hazardous and cryogenic materials.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and optimize service delivery.
- Identify and address any gaps in revenue or profitability, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct research to stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends
- Provide strategic input on new market opportunities, service expansions, and business development initiatives.
- Perform any other assigned duties
- In-depth knowledge of bulk liquid logistics, including Ocean Freight, Flexi-Tank, ISO Tank (Food Grade and Dangerous Goods), and Cryogenic Tank operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Proficiency in sales management tools S360, CRM software, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to handle complex logistics challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Proven track record in managing large, complex customer accounts and achieving volume & revenue growth.
- Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in sales and business development, with specific experience in bulk liquid logistics.
